ACADEMIA FE

Muevete con Academia Fe is a dance team created by Fatima Campos and Erika Carlos Lopez, with over ten years of experience choreographing performances representing Latin-American culture. Our goal is to create an environment where young students can start their journey and grow an emotional connection to embrace their Latin American culture.

We have had the opportunity to partner with the city of Lynwood to become a recreational class and invite youth within Lynwood and other local communities to improve their coordination, strength, and flexibility and learn to express themselves through movement and creativity. This class exposes students to a great support system from being surrounded by an environment of individuals with a shared passion and mutual goals creating an empowering bond.

At Muévete con Academia Fe, we are committed to ensuring that all students, including those with disabilities, have access to our classes and the opportunity to express themselves through dance. We provide specialized equipment and support to help students with disabilities fully participate in our classes.

Our courses aim to learn choreography to perform and be presented in Christmas parades, competitions, and fun events. We have had the opportunity to perform in several parades, including the Annual City of Lynwood Candy Cane Lane Parade, South Gate Children’s Christmas Lane Parade, Palos Verdes, Downey, and Huntington Park Parades, in which we have received awards. We were also invited to participate in the City of Lynwood Halloween Festival Entertainment & Annual Easter Egg Hunt.
